Some threats never really end, they simply evolve.
Chief Boatswain’s Mate Logan Cross thought the threat of Blackwake was behind him. A plot to assassinate a government official stopped, conspirators behind bars, a new command position and a baby on the way. Cross thought the worst was in the past.
But when a key suspect is viciously murdered in prison, it quickly becomes clear that Blackwake never stopped. They were just regrouping… planning something far bigger. Something far more lethal.
As Cross begins to unravel the mystery behind the suspicious death, the violence lands on his doorstep. When the syndicate targets his pregnant wife, Melanie, it becomes apparent that he needs to take the fight to the next brutally violent level.
With help from trusted allies and teammates, Cross must take on a vicious and prepared syndicate that will stop at nothing to put him in the ground. This time, he won’t just fight to survive. He’ll fight to end it. But can Cross go far enough to protect those he loves?
